OYD Live LLC (“OYD Live,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates oydlive.com and provides venue management and marketing services for the LECOM Event Center located at 155 N Main St, Elmira, NY 14901. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information. By using our website or services, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Who We Are
OYD Live LLCis an event management and marketing company operating in New York State. OYD Live serves as the exclusive management company for the LECOM Event Center (“LECOM Event Center”), a live event venue located in Elmira, NY. OYD Live and LECOM Event Center are separate legal entities that operate jointly to deliver events, marketing programs, and communications to fans and guests.
References to “we,” “us,” or “our” in this policy refer to OYD Live LLC as the primary data controller, acting on behalf of and in coordination with LECOM Event Center for purposes of event operations and marketing communications.
2. Information We Collect
We may collect the following categories of personal information:
- Contact Information: Your name, email address, and phone number when submitted through forms on our website
- Communications Preferences: Your consent choices for SMS and email marketing
- Usage Data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, time spent on pages, and referring URLs, collected automatically when you visit our website
- Submitted Content: Messages, survey responses, applications, or other content you submit through our contact or event forms
- Event Preferences: Interests and preferences you provide related to shows and events at the LECOM Event Center
We do not directly process ticket transactions. Ticket purchases for events at LECOM Event Center are handled through third-party ticketing platforms (such as Ticketmaster). Those platforms operate under their own privacy policies.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to inquiries and provide requested services
- Send event announcements, presale access codes, show updates, and marketing communications, subject to your consent where required
- Operate and improve our website and event programming based on usage data and feedback
- Process sponsorship, partnership, and vendor inquiries
- Fulfill legal and regulatory obligations
- Maintain the security and integrity of our website and communications systems
We will not use your information for purposes materially different from those stated above without providing notice and, where required, obtaining your consent.
4. SMS & Text Message Communications
If you opt in to SMS communications, you agree to receive recurring automated marketing text messages (SMS/MMS) from OYD Live and LECOM Event Center at the mobile number you provide. Messages may include event announcements, presale codes, ticket on-sale alerts, and promotional content.
Message Frequency: Approximately 4–8 messages per month; frequency may vary around event announcements and on-sale periods.
Opt-Out: Reply STOP to any message to cancel at any time. You will receive a one-time confirmation, and no further messages will be sent.
Help: Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or reach us via our contact form.
Message & Data Rates: Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your carrier plan.
Consent is not a condition of purchase. You are not required to opt in to SMS to attend events or access services.
Record Retention: SMS opt-in consent records and related communications are retained for a minimum of four (4) years to comply with TCPA and A2P 10DLC carrier requirements.
SMS opt-in data and consent records are never shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
5. Email Communications
When you submit your email address through our website, you may receive marketing emails from OYD Live and LECOM Event Center, including event announcements, presale notifications, and promotional offers.
Opt-Out:You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by clicking the “Unsubscribe” link included in the footer of every marketing email we send, or by submitting a request through our contact form. We will process your request within 10 business days.
Transactional emails (such as form submission confirmations or direct responses to your inquiries) are not marketing emails and are not subject to marketing opt-out.
6. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share your information in the following limited circumstances:
- LECOM Event Center: As described in Section 1, OYD Live shares personal information with LECOM Event Center for the purpose of joint event operations and marketing programs. Both entities are bound by the terms of this Privacy Policy with respect to the information shared.
- Service Providers: We use third-party platforms to operate our services, including:
- GoHighLevel (GHL) — our customer relationship management (CRM) platform, used to store contact information and manage communications
- Google Analytics — website analytics (see Section 7)
- Email delivery platforms — for sending marketing and transactional emails
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose information when required by law, court order, subpoena, or other governmental authority.
- Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of all or substantially all of our assets, your information may be transferred. We will provide notice before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
- Protection of Rights: We may disclose information where we believe it is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of OYD Live, LECOM Event Center, our users, or the public.

10. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law:
- SMS consent records: Minimum of four (4) years, as required by TCPA and A2P 10DLC carrier requirements
- Email and contact records: Retained while your communications preferences remain active, and for a reasonable period thereafter for suppression (opt-out) purposes
- Website usage data: Retained per Google Analytics default retention settings (26 months unless configured otherwise)
- Form submissions and inquiry records: Retained as needed to respond to your inquiry and for business records purposes
You may request deletion of your personal information at any time (see Section 11). Deletion requests are subject to any overriding legal retention obligations.
11. Your Rights
Under New York law and applicable federal law, you have the following rights with respect to your personal information:

- Correction: Request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete information
- Deletion: Request that we delete your personal information, subject to legal retention requirements (including the 4-year SMS consent retention obligation)

12. Third-Party Links & Ticketing Platforms
Our website contains links to third-party websites, including ticketing platforms (such as Ticketmaster), social media platforms, and venue partners. When you click a link to a third-party site, you leave our website and are subject to that site's privacy policy and terms of use.
Ticket purchases for events at LECOM Event Center are processed directly by third-party ticketing platforms. OYD Live is not responsible for the data practices of those platforms and encourages you to review their privacy policies before completing a ticket purchase.
13. Children's Privacy
Our website and marketing services are not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, please notify us immediately via our contact form and we will promptly delete such information.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. When we make material changes, we will:
- Update the “Effective Date” at the top of this page
- Post a notice on our website homepage for a reasonable period following the change
